New York City residents Christopher Estrella, age 21, of Queens, and Isa Hills, also 21, of Manhattan, were arrested on Monday, April 19, by Westport Police, said Lieutenant David Wolf.

Their arrests took place after Westport Police received a report from a local pharmacy that an unknown person was attempting to obtain prescription medications via the phone, Wolf said.

The pharmacy said that after calling the prescribing doctor to verify whether the prescriptions were valid it was learned that the doctor did not prescribe the medications in question, he added.

At approximately 4:20 p.m., Hills and Estrella arrived at the pharmacy to retrieve the medications and were subsequently detained by the investigating detectives.

Both men were charged with obtaining controlled drugs by fraud and conspiracy to obtain controlled drugs by fraud.

Hills was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance after he was found to be in possession of suspected illegal narcotics, Wolf said.

Both were released after posting $10,000 bonds.
